Passkeys
Phishing-resistant credentials stored in your vault.

Settings
Auto-fill, security, recovery & import / export
Auto-fill
Auto-submit after fill
Automatically submits the login form after filling in your credentials. Works best on single-step login pages.
Auto-save new credentials
When you submit a login form for a site not in your vault, Cloakd captures the username, password, and URL for you to review and save here.
Auto-fill cards & identities
Automatically fills payment and address forms when Cloakd detects card or identity fields. Shows a picker if you have more than one saved.
Generate passwords on signup forms
When Cloakd detects a signup or password-change form, automatically generates and fills a strong random password. Auto-save (above) will then offer to store it.
Account
Sign out
Ends your session and removes all local vault data. You'll need your email and master password to sign back in.
Email Aliases
Per-site email aliases
Use a unique email for every login (the “Use email alias” link in the add/edit dialog). Mail still lands in your real inbox — but if a site leaks or starts spamming, you'll know exactly which one, and can filter or block just that address.
Aliases look like you+netflix.a1b2@gmail.com — works with Gmail, Outlook, Fastmail, Proton, iCloud and most providers.
Requires a domain with catch-all email. Aliases look like netflix.a1b2@yourdomain — fully anonymous, never reveals your real address.
Import & Export
Import from browser
Upload a CSV exported from Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Bitwarden, or LastPass. Duplicate entries are detected automatically before anything is saved.
Export vault
Download all credentials as a Chrome-compatible CSV. Store the file securely — it contains unencrypted passwords.
Security
Master password
Change the password that unlocks your vault. Your data is re-keyed locally — nothing is re-uploaded, and your recovery phrase stays valid.
Extension auto-lock
Lock the browser extension vault after this period of inactivity. You'll need your master password to unlock it again.
Vault app auto-lock
Lock this web app after idle time. Keeps your vault safe if you walk away from your browser.
Clipboard auto-clear
Automatically clear the clipboard after copying a password or 2FA code, so it can't be pasted elsewhere accidentally.
Recovery & Security Keys
Recovery phrase
24 BIP-39 words — the only way to recover your vault if you forget your master password. Generate a new one to invalidate the old phrase.
